Outstanding teacher award nomination deadline Jan. 19; recognizes inspiring educators

Do you know of an exceptional teacher who deserves recognition for the positive impact they’ve had on students and schools?

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is seeking information about teachers who have been an inspiration to our students. Nominations for the annual Rose-Hulman Outstanding Teacher Award are being accepted until Jan. 19.

Teachers selected for the award are recognized during the annual Rose-Hulman Honors and Awards Banquet, Saturday, May 5 in the Hulman Union. Honorees will receive an award as well as a monetary gift.

Nominations must provide information that supports why the teacher deserves the award. Also required is the name, address and telephone number of three education colleagues who can be contacted to submit letters of recommendation for the nominee. Please submit the subject area(s) the nominee teaches, your name, address and telephone number.

A selection committee of Rose-Hulman faculty and staff evaluate and chose the award recipients.

Nomination information should be sent to Professor Patsy Brackin, Department of Mechanical Engineering, CM 165, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, 5500 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
