Five gridders earn all-conference honors
The Rose-Hulman football team placed five players on the all-Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference team after recording a
2-8 mark for the second consecutive year under head coach Russ Mollet.
Senior Steve Krause earned first-team honors at offensive tackle, while running back B.J.
Dames, defensive ends David Berty and Jeremy Sewell, and linebacker James Munafo were
named second-team all-conference after enjoying solid seasons on the gridiron.
Rose-Hulman highlighted the 2000 season with a 24-10 victory over Rhodes College on
Homecoming and defeated Case Western Reserve 27-14.
