Alumni trip planned along the Blue Danube
The 2001 alumni trip will be a 14-day tour of central Europe that will include a
seven-night cruise on the Blue Danube. Visit points on the itinerary include Prague in the
Czech Republic, Melk, Austria, Nuremberg, Germany, Vienna, Austria, Regensburg, Germany,
and Budapest, Hungary.
The trip will take place June 20 through July 3.
The cruise originates in Nuremberg, and will take place on board the new Amadeus Classic.
Travelers will see many examples of medieval culture, including architectural highlights
such as cathedrals, churches, moats, and watchtowers. Also on the tour will be Baroque
architechture, including a stop at the Benedictine Abbey in Melk, Austria.
