Holistic Education
Electrical and Computer Engineering graduates shall
be prepared to practice the profession of
engineering using a systems perspective broad enough
to encompass technological, economic, ethical,
environmental, social, and human issues, shall have
demonstrated a facility for independent learning,
and shall be prepared for continued professional
development.

T1:

Each ECE graduate shall have completed a general engineering
science core by the beginning of the junior year, and shall have completed a discipline-specific
technical core.

|
|
|
Objectives:

(a) Each ECE
graduate shall demonstrate proficiency in
mathematics and science. |

(b) Each ECE
graduate shall be able to analyze and solve
engineering science
problems using a unified conservation and

Electrical and Computer Engineering graduates
shall have participated in design experiences including a comprehensive, industrially-oriented
design project, oral presentations, and written communications.

Each ECE graduate shall have participated in team design
experiences in which the client is distinct from the faculty supervisor(s).

(a) Each ECE
graduate shall be prepared to work effectively in
teams. |

(b) Each ECE
graduate shall understand how product design is
driven by
market demand. |

and writing of product design specifications. |

conceptual design processes and shall have
applied formal methods for
