Donors who set up endowed
funds and donors who make
annual gifts of $1,000 or
more for scholarships are
invited to the annual
Scholarship Dinner to meet
their student scholarship
recipients. All donors are
listed in the Honor Roll of
Donors, and will also
receive an invitation to the
President’s Appreciation
Dinner.
Annual Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded
annually from gifts of cash
or securities. An annual
donation of $1,000 or more
can be designated to a named
fund in the donor’s honor.
The entire scholarship gift
is given yearly to provide
financial assistance to Rose
students. Annual
scholarships make a direct
impact in the lives of these
young engineers, scientists
and mathematicians, and help
insure that every student
who wants to receive a
Rose-Hulman education can.
Endowed Scholarships
Gifts to endowed
scholarships go into an
endowment fund, where only
the income generated from
the fund is used for
financial assistance each
year. It takes $50,000 to
endow a scholarship through
this program, which can be
done all at once or over a
period of time. Endowed
scholarships are named funds
that can reflect an
individual, family, or
company. They can be given
in honor of or memory of
another. Endowed
scholarships leave a lasting
legacy at Rose-Hulman.
Class Scholarships
Alumni Class Scholarships
are named in honor of each
class of Rose-Poly and
Rose-Hulman. The
scholarships are endowed
funds. When a class
scholarship reaches $50,000,
awards will be made.
Students receiving these
scholarships will be
considered the “class
scholar.”
Corporate Scholarships
Corporate First-Step
Scholarships are annual
awards of $5,000 or more.
Corporations and businesses
can provide for named
scholarship funds,
internships and equipment
needs such as laptop
computers for Rose-Hulman
students.
