Students
Seven Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology graduating classes have
reached or exceeded a financial
goal that will have a positive
impact on Rose-Hulman students and
the reputation of Rose-Hulman for
many decades. Their efforts are
creating new scholarships to
enable the college to successfully
compete for the nation’s best
students. Each class has achieved
the goal of raising at least
$50,000 or more to establish an
endowed scholarship fund in honor
of their class.
Mark
Lindemood Named Vice President for
Development
Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology has
selected a veteran
higher-education fundraising
manager to become the college's
new vice president for
development. Mark Lindemood will
join the Rose-Hulman
administration on June 1 to manage
the Office of Development.

Golf Outing Raises $35,000

received a $35,000 boost July 13
as the result of funds raised

Rose-Hulman Receives $1 Million
Lilly Endowment Grant to Attract
and Retain Faculty
Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology will use a
$1 million grant from the Lilly
Endowment Inc. to recruit and
retain young faculty by providing
them with substantial funding to
implement innovative projects to
enhance undergraduate education at
the college.
Kern Family Foundation Gift
Creates Second ECE Studio
Classroom Lab
A $125,000 grant
from the Kern Family Foundation of
Waukesha, Wisc. is creating a
second, studio-style laboratory
classroom in the Department of
Electrical and Computer
Engineering (ECE) at Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology.
