Rose-Hulman receives many
memorial gifts each year.
Typically they honor the
passing of an alumni someone
close to Rose, but they also
occasionally come in the
name of friends of the
school. Memorial gifts come
in all types. Many are
scholarship gifts that are
often presented to current
Rose-Hulman students in the
name of the honoree, but
others request bricks in our
new Reflection Plaza, some
endow new scholarship funds,
and some are for laboratory
equipment and other academic
purposes. In fact,
Rose-Hulman receives
memorial gifts for almost
any purpose related to the
operation of the school.
Often upon
the loss of a loved one,
families prefer to have
gifts directed to charitable
organizations in lieu of
flowers. Rose-Hulman
gratefully receives such
gifts in memory of alumni,
students, faculty, staff,
and friends of the school.
Rose-Hulman is happy to
provide envelopes for this
purpose. Those making
arrangements and newspaper
notification should be
advised that memorial gifts
