Message from Alumni Giving Chair, Dick Neal
(dneal77RH@aol.com)
Class of 1977, Electrical Engineering, Class Agent
I’d like to share my thoughts with you on the importance of
supporting our #1 engineering school. To continue to draw the
best students and professors to Rose-Hulman we’ll need to
increase the endowment, providing a higher level of tuition
aid which might just make the difference to a kid who’s always
known Rose was for him or for her.
Alumni participation is critical. High levels of alumni
support will bring in additional resources for students,
teachers and programs. Many foundations and government grants
look closely at us, the alumni, not only in the level of
giving, but in the level of participation as well.
Our Alumni group is growing at a high rate, with 332 new
alumni in the last year. I encourage each of you to
contribute through the annual campaign, or class scholarship
funds. If you are new alum, we need you to be counted.
Please go online and make your gift today. As for those of us
who have been out of school for some time, please consider
increasing your gift.
If you’re not sure what to give, give what you can, but most
importantly make a gift to the Annual Fund Campaign. If you
currently do support with an annual contribution, thank you.
If you aren’t an annual donor, may I suggest you go to
https://alumni.rose-hulman.edu/donations/donate.asp?id=2221
and register your support with a contribution? Even better,
create a giving tradition, by making an ongoing pledge.
