Overview:  The Rose-Hulman cluster is an 18-node, rackmount, off-the-shelf  Apex Cluster system purchased from Advanced Clustering Technologies. It is housed in the IAIT machine room. The hardware and software specifications are below.

Cluster Hardware

Additional Cluster Nodes purchased and installed summer 2003 (10 nodes)
  • 2 AMD Athlon processors @ 2.6 Ghz
  • 1024 Mbyte RAM
  • 40 Gbyte hard drive
  • Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit)
Network Topology
   All the nodes are plugged into the same 54 port HP Procurve Fast Ethernet switch.
