Homework #3

Due: Thursday, September 29 at midnight

Purpose: To gain experience in brainstorming, idea reduction and creating a vision statement.

We are continuing with the same problem as the one used for Homework #2. The steps are as follows:

1. In class on Friday, September 16, we will do brainstorming and idea reduction for this problem.

2. For Homework #3, you are to turn in a vision document for this software, using the format found at

Note that the vision document includes exemplary use cases, whose template can be found at

You may ask me questions about the vision document and exemplary use cases during your CSSE 371 class period and on the ANGEL homework discussion forum for your section. Anything produced in class towards this assignment (e.g. the list of ideas) or posted by me in the homework discussion forum by Tuesday, September 27 should be factored into your homework submission.

Please turn in your homework to the Homework #3 Drop Box in ANGEL.
