The leader needs to trust the quality of work from each individual but verify it before it becomes part of the project.  I would like the leader to pursue an aggressive schedule so we aren't pulling all nighters at the end of the term and have time to go above and beyond the requirements of the project.

In OS, we finished the entire FAT project, including documentation and extra credit four days prior to the due date before it got moved back by two days.  I've developed three pieces of software for my high school, all web-based, which are a calendaring system, a file manager, and lunch management program.  This included developing specifications, designing the software, implementing the code, testing, and delivery.  I worked at Microsoft where I developed an internal tool from a concept, led a feature crew, and applied for a patent on the algorithms I developed.  Overall, I'm pretty good at seeing the idea for a piece of software develop into a finished product.

I would like him or her to be good at integration of program parts and be good at assigning tasks to our strengths.  Also, he or she should be good at debugging.  I would like a team leader that participates in working with the team by taking on the odds and ends or helping the part of the project that is lagging.

Java: (Very skilled) CSSE120, CSSE220, and CSSE230 along with 1 or two out of class projects. Several years java coding experience on personal projects, one summer of intense c experience under linux  I worked at Microsoft as a tester this last summer.  Over the summer it was my job to write my test specifications as well as to come up with useful and effective test cases.

I especially like coding and creating GUIs  I like writing the code including making it robust so that it will survive unexpected/desired input.

Afternoon, morning, weekends  I prefer to work in the afternoon to early evening; however, I shut down by about 10pm and I don't get much that's useful done after that point.

I spent the summer researching and designing my own project that had to be user friendly. I had to defend the reasons that I chose what I did to management and explain why those were the best choices. People skills were a must for my internship and I was rated Outstanding in most of them.

He would delegate tasks to the different members and be constantly making sure they meet those deadlines.  He has a clear vision of what the project is, where its going, and communicates that vision VERY well to the other teammates, and vice versa

All that I really need is to meet a few times per week and make sure that everyone knows what they're doing and what is expected of them.  I think that programming is best done in groups of one or two at a time, any more than that and it gets inefficient.
