August 2001: Anticipate the first enrollment of Freshmen as Applied Biology majors at Rose-Hulman.

May 25-26, 2000: The Institute's Board of Trustees considered and approved the faculty's recommendation to offer the Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biology.

May 9, 2000: Rose-Hulman faculty recommended, by a 53 to 22 margin, that a program leading to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Biology be approved by the Institute's Board of Trustees.

April 11, 2000: A proposal to provide a Bachelor of Science Degree program in Applied Biology was formally presented to the Institute's faculty. Being a substantive issue, it was tabled for further discussion.

March 9, 2000: A preliminary curriculum for a program of study leading to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Biology was approved by the Institute's Curriculum Committee with no dissenting votes.
