Degree Requirements for a B.S. in Chemical
Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering plans the registration of students in certain classes in order to keep a balance between the number of students attending different sections of courses that are offered in different quarters.  This leads to two plans, Plan A1 and Plan A2 for students who do not coop.  Students who intend to coop should contact their academic advisor for a plan of study.

Approximately one-half of the students will follow schedule A1 and one-half will follow schedule A2.  The courses to be taken in each plan are the same, but the time for taking those courses is different.
