January 18, 2010 Campus Prepares to Host 3rd
Largest Winter Fair On Wednesday, January 27th,
Career Services and the student-run career fair team will be hosting over 80
companies for the annual winter career fair. This event, held in the SRC
from 11am to 4pm, is for any student looking for full-time, intern or
co-op opportunities. Please be sure to stop by and visit these companies and
welcome them to campus! The company list will continue to be updated this
week as additional companies register, so check back often! Click here for
the list of attending companies. Career Bootcamp 2010: Do you have your resume prepped
and ready to be seen by recruiters at the Winter Career Fair on January 27th?
Do you know how you plan to introduce yourself and sell yourself as someone
that companies will want to hire? Stop by our 2010 Career
Bootcamp on Monday, January 25th from 11am to 2pm in the Union Kahn Room.
Not only will we have free food, but we’ll have stations set up to meet with
Career Services staff members and Peer Advisors for 5 minute resume reviews
and prep sessions to help you craft your personal introduction. Stop by with
your career-related questions, and enter our drawing for $25.00 in Subway
cash, too! 50 Internships Available through
Entrepreneurial and Biomedical programs This summer, 50 students will be
GUARANTEED an internship through the Career Services EIP program. 29
companies from all over the state of Indiana have been accepted to
participate, thanks to a grant from the Lilly Foundation. 10 of the
companies will be specifically targeting biomedical engineering majors,
while the other 19 will be looking for most other majors. Many of these
companies will be starting their candidate search through the Winter Career
Fair. They will also be posting their positions in eRecruiting, so
keep watching for an opportunity that fits your major! Participating companies include:
