Credit

The Institute guideline is that one credit hour represents approximately an average of three hours of work by a typical student per week throughout a ten-week academic quarter, or the equivalent amount of work over a different time. “Work” includes all activities necessary to achieve the objectives of the learning experience (attending lectures, conducting laboratory experiments, completing assignments, studying for tests, etc.).
