TERRE HAUTE, IND. - The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology volleyball team will hold its annual "Dig Pink" fundraiser match for the Wabash Valley Breast Cancer Survivors Organization on Saturday at Hulbert Arena.
The Fightin' Engineers will face Hanover College in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup at 1 p.m. Local breast cancer survivors will be honored prior to the match in a pregame ceremony approximately 12:45.
Following the first match, the team will join local cancer survivors for a social at 3 p.m. The day concludes with a match against Kalamazoo College at 5 p.m.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to the Wabash Valley Breast Cancer Survivors Organization. The Fightin' Engineers are also accepting donations for the local group during every home October match and players will be selling T-shirts on campus for $10 to raise funds for the organization.
Rose-Hulman enters the match at 10-12 overall and 1-3 in HCAC play after sweeping Anderson on Wednesday night. Hanover has a 9-12 record and is 1-1 in league play, while Kalamazoo comes into the day with a 10-10 mark.
