CINCINNATI, OHIO - Rose-Hulman is set to square off with Transylvania University in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament Semifinal Match on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the College of Mount St. Joseph.
Rose-Hulman stands 21-8 on the season after sweeping Bluffton University in three sets to open the HCAC Tournament on Tuesday. The Fightin' Engineers earned the No. 3 seed for this year's tournament after finishing 7-2 in conference play.
Transylvania earned the No. 2 seed after a 21-13 season that featured an 8-1 mark in conference play.
The winner of Saturday's semifinal match will face the winner of Saturday's 2 p.m. match between Mount St. Joseph and Defiance. Both the semifinals and Sunday's 1 p.m. championship match will be played at Mount St. Joseph.
Rose-Hulman is the defending HCAC Volleyball Tournament champions, earning their first bid to the NCAA Tournament in 2011 after winning three straight matches on the road.
Students from Rose-Hulman and Mount St. Joseph will be admitted free to the match. Admission for all other fans has been set at $6 in accordance with HCAC Tournament policy.
