
BLUFFTON, OHIO -- The Rose-Hulman volleyball season came to an end with a 25-18, 25-15, 25-19 loss in the first round of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament at Bluffton University.
Freshman Casey Levitt (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake) led the Engineers with eight kills and two service aces. Sophomore Anna Lewer (Indianapolis/Lutheran) contributed seven kills to the effort.
Freshman Kira Boswell (Ames, Iowa) recorded 24 assists, and junior Leah Pelzel (Loveland, Ohio/ Mount Notre Dame) tallied a team-high nine digs.
Rose-Hulman recorded the highest winning percentage in school history with a 19-10 mark this season. The Fightin' Engineers tied for fourth place in the HCAC with a 5-4 league record.
