Hickman1TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology volleyball team placed two players on the all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference squad in results released today.

Junior Karah Hickman (Hobart) (pictured) and sophomore Anna Lewer (Indianapolis/ Lutheran) were named to the first-team all-conference squad.

Hickman led the team with 238 kills and paced hitters with a .319 hitting percentage.  Her efforts included 89 blocks to rank second on the team, along with 62 digs.

Hickman improved her career totals to 624 kills, 197 blocks and 187 digs in three seasons as a Fightin' Engineer.

Lewer ranked second on the team with 235 kills and 294 digs.  Her efforts included 26 service aces and blocks on the season.

Lewer's career totals stand at 565 kills, 700 digs, 95 blocks and 70 service aces, along with a pair of first-team all-conference honors.

Rose-Hulman finished 19-10 overall this season for the highest single-season winning percentage in school history.  The Fightin' Engineers opened the season with nine consecutive wins to set a new school record for a winning streak.
