HANOVER, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 2-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a 21-25, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24 victory over Hanover College in volleyball action on Saturday.

Senior Anna Lewer (Indianapolis/Lutheran) led the offense with 13 kills and had 12 digs to pace the attack. Junior Catherine Fiutem (Harrison, Ohio/Oldenburg Academy) added 11 kills without an error and hit an impressive .611 for the match.  

Junior Kira Boswell (Ames, Iowa) recorded 20 assists, with freshman Sarah Jensen (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley Northwest) adding 17.

Junior Casey Levitt (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake) pitched in with 14 digs, and junior Kate Dangel (Upper Arlington, Ohio) added 13.  Freshman Claire Raycraft (Decatur, Ill./St. Teresa) led the team with four total blocks.

The Fightin' Engineers improved to 13-7 on the season with the victory, while Hanover is 12-12 and 2-3 in conference play.  Rose-Hulman travels to Manchester on Sunday.
