fiutem-hitTERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Fightin' Engineers completed the Rose-Hulman Volleyball Invitational with a 2-2 record after splitting a pair of matches on Sunday.

Rose-Hulman won the opener over Webster 27-29, 26-24, 25-17, 25-11 to open Sunday play.

Junior Casey Levitt (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake) led the Engineers with 16 kills, and senior Anna Lewer (Indianapolis/Lutheran) added 12 and a team-high 24 digs.

Junior Kira Boswell (Ames, Iowa) had 22 assists, with freshman Sarah Jensen (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley Northwest) just behind at 21 assists.  Jensen also had six service aces, with four aces from senior Erika McGuire (Indianapolis/Warren Central).

Freshman Claire Raycraft (Decatur, Ill./St. Teresa) provided depth with three block assists and one solo block.

Millikin defeated the Engineers 28-26, 25-16, 24-26, 25-13 in the nightcap.

Jensen led the Millikin effort with a rare triple-double.  She recorded 11 kills, 14 assists and 15 digs for the Engineers. 

Boswell added team-highs of 15 assists and two service aces.  Junior Kate Dangel (Upper Arlington, Ohio) paced the squad with 24 digs, with Lewer contributing eight kills, 14 digs and four blocks.

For her efforts, Jensen earned a spot on the all-tournament team for the Rose-Hulman Invitational.

Rose-Hulman stands 6-3 on the season and returns to action with matches against Kalamazoo and Millikin at the DePauw University Invitational on Friday night.
