TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Bluffton University rallied from a 2-1 deficit and won the fourth and fifth sets to top Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball battle on Saturday afternoon.

Bluffton won the first set 25-23, before Rose-Hulman claimed 25-22 and 25-19 victories.  The Beavers rallied to win the fourth set 25-19, then won the final two points of the match to claim a 15-13 victory in the deciding set.

Junior Anna Lewer (Indianapolis, Ind./Lutheran) led the Engineers with 16 kills and 17 digs.  Sophomore Casey Levitt (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake) added 13 kills with 13 digs.  Levitt also led the team with five aces.

Senior Leah Pelzel (Loveland, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) recorded 29 assists on the day and added 15 digs.  Sophomore Kira Boswell (Ames, Iowa) chipped in with 14.  Both contributed three aces on the day. 

Sophomore Kate Dangel (Upper Arlington, Ohio) tied Lewer for the team lead with 17 digs.  Senior Morgan Williams (Fenton, Mich./Powers Catholic) added four blocks to the defensive effort. 

Bluffton improved to 17-9 overall and 5-2 in HCAC play, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 18-8 and 5-2 in league matches.  The Fightin' Engineers travel to Earlham College on Wednesday night.
