Men's Track & Field Ranked 21st Nationally

225 Valioulis TriplejumpTERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team stands No. 21 nationally and No. 3 in the Great Lakes Region in this week's NCAA Division III Track and Field Team Dual Meet Rankings, in the weekly poll released today.

The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Dual Meet Rankings list Rose-Hulman 21st overall with 156.18 points.

The USTFCCA uses a criteria that evaluates the top two performances in each event that is conducted at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Indoor National Championships and assigns a numerical value based upon the quality of the mark to determine the dual meet rankings.

Rose-Hulman moved up in the rankings after a performance that resulted in the fourth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championship last weekend.  The Fightin' Engineers earned the conference team championship by an 83-point margin over Franklin.

Individuals from Rose-Hulman will compete at Anderson this weekend.
