Men's Track & Field No. 23 Nationally, No. 4 in Region

225Mauser 5000TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team stands No. 23 nationally and No. 4 in the Great Lakes Region in this week's NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Team Dual Meet Rankings, in the weekly poll released today.

The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Dual Meet Rankings list Rose-Hulman 23rd overall with 180.56 points.

The USTFCCA uses a criteria that evaluates the top two performances in each event that is conducted at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Indoor National Championships and assigns a numerical value based upon the quality of the mark to determine the dual meet rankings.

Rose-Hulman solidified its ranking with its seventh consecutive outdoor conference championship in late April at Defiance College.  The team recorded a 50-2 team dual meet record this spring.

Individuals from the Fightin' Engineers will compete at Eastern Illinois University on Friday night.
