TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology seniors Creasy Clauser (Crawfordsville/Southmont) and Tyler Hannan (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) earned Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors in results released by the league office.
Clauser was named the HCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week, while Hannan claimed the Men's Track Athlete of the Week award.
Clauser earned Track Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season winning two individual and one relay events at Ohio Northern on Saturday. She won the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.16 seconds and earned top honors in the 400-meter dash with a mark of 1:00.05. Clauser also helped the 4-x-200 meter relay team capture first-place honors with a winning time of 1:50.62.
Hannan won the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.73 and also helped the 4-X-200-meter relay team place first at Ohio Northern with a time of 1:32.75. His efforts also included a strong third-place performance in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.11 seconds.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at DePauw University on Saturday.
