hannan-acTERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology earned 10 men's and two women's Division III victories to highlight the Terre Haute Double Dual at the Sports and Recreation Center on Friday.

In Division III action, Rose-Hulman won the men's competition with 126 points to top Washington University and Illinois Wesleyan.

In Division I action, Indiana State University earned men's and women's victories over Illinois State University.

In the Division III competition, senior Travis Stallings (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) led the men's individual performances with two individual and one relay victory.  Stallings recorded a long jump mark of 22' 10" that ranks second in school history and a 200-meter winning time of 22.94 which ranks fifth.

He was also on the winning 4-x-400 meter relay team that included sophomore Blake Schulthies (Dubois/Northeast Dubois), sophomore Jake Kelley (Tecumseh, Mich.) and senior Tyler Hannan (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) that finished in 3:28.19.

Hannan also won the 400-meter dash in 50.36 seconds.  Other running event winners included junior Andrew Thompson (Mundelein, Ill.) with the third-best 3,000-meter time in school history (8:50.15); sophomore Stuart West (La Porte) in the mile run (4:26.36) and junior Philip Koranteng (Sterling, Va./Dominion) in the 60-meter high hurdles (8.66).

Senior Greg Larmore (Deerfield, Ill.) led the men's field event winners with the second-best weight throw in school history (53' 0 3/4").  Other winners included senior Collin Crowson (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome) in the pole vault (15' 1") and senior Chris Good (Bloomington/Edgewood) in the high jump (6' 2 1/4").

On the women's side, senior Liz Evans (Bicknell/North Knox) won the high jump with the nation's top Division III effort this season of 5' 7".  Junior Ryann-Rebecca Montgomery (Lafayette, La./Episcopal School of Acadia) added a mile run win in 5:27.18.

One school record also fell on the day, as senior Tanya Colonna (Brecksville, Ohio) earned runner-up honors with a pole vault leap of 10' 6 3/4".  Senior Creasy Clauser (Crawfordsville/Southmont) added women's depth with second-place finishes in the 200 (27.68) and 400 (1:00.47) meter dashes.

The men's runner-up performances were highlighted by senior Trey Cahill (Auburn/DeKalb) with a weight throw toss of 51' 4 1/4" that ranks fourth in school history.  Other runner-up finishers included senior Jeremiah Edwards (Indianapolis/Lawrence North) in the 60-meter dash (7.11); freshman Kevin Mauser (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) in the 3,000 (9:18.01); Schulthies in the 60-meter hurdles (8.84 seconds); sophomore Vashon Solomon (Greensboro, N.C./Southeast Guilford) in the high jump (6' 0 1/2"); and freshman Dimitrios Valioulis (Thessaloniki, Greece/Anatolia College Prep) with a triple jump mark of 42' 10 1/4".

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Friday Night Invitational next weekend at the Sports and Recreation Center.
