Coleman (Lebanon, Va.) and junior Liz Evans
(Bicknell/North Knox) enjoyed strong performances at the
University of Louisvile Twilight Meet on Friday.
Evans tied for second in a women's high jump field that featured nine vaulters from five NCAA Division I and two NCAA Division II programs. The mark of 5-8 marks among the national leaders.
Coleman placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.78 seconds against a Division I field. His time of 14.51 seconds in the 110-high hurdles also ranked fifth on the afternoon.
Individuals from the Engineers will return to
action on May 18 at the North Central Invitational.
