VIDEO:  SCHOOL RECORD 4-X-400 PERFORMANCE

746-Evans-hjGRINNELL, IOWA -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology student-athletes combined for three school records and 15 top-four performances at Grinnell College on Saturday.

Junior Sutton Coleman (Lebanon, Va.) recorded one individual school record and helped the 4-x-400 meter relay cap the meet with a second mark.

Coleman recorded a school record time of 7.68 seconds in the 55-meter high hurdles, and combined with sophomore Brent Austgen (Cedar Lake/Hanover Central), senior Paul Bouagnon (St. Charles, Ill./Burlington Central), and freshman Tyler Hannan (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) for a first-place time of 3:22.34 in the 4-x-400 meters.

Sophomore Liz Evans (Bicknell/North Knox) won the high jump and set a school record to place second in the long jump to pace the women's effort.  Evans leaped 16' 10 1/2" and cleared 5' 6" for an NCAA provisional mark in the high jump.

Senior Derek Bischak (Angola) added the final event victory of the day with a time of 1:55.27 in the 800-meter run to capture top honors.
