HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 8-1
overall and 5-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play
with an 8-1 victory over Hanover on Saturday morning.
Junior Marie Stettler (Edgerton, Wis./Senior), junior Paige Cook (Terre Haute/North), freshman Lauren Miller (Highland, Ill.), sophomore Kylie McCollum (Lee's Summitt, Mo./West) and junior Lauren Reberger (Brazil/Northview) earned singles victories to pace the effort.
The doubles teams also earned a sweep of the match. Stettler teamed with senior Melissa Montgomery (Alexandria/Monroe) to win at No. 1 doubles. Cook and sophomore Koharuko Fujita (Ishikawa, Japan/Izumigaoka) won at the No. 2 spot, with McCollum and Reberger earning the No. 3 doubles victory.
The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Sunday with a noon home match against Franklin.
