IND. -- Rose-Hulman improved to 4-1 on the women's tennis season
and 2-0 in league play with a 6-3 victory over Anderson University
in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday
night.
The duo of sophomore Suzana Mohd (Puchong, Malaysia) and junior Paige Cook (Terre Haute/North) teamed up for a No. 2 doubles victory and then at No. 2 and No. 4 singles to combine for three of the team's six wins.
Freshman Lauren Miller (Highland, Ill.) added a victory at the No. 5 singles spot, with sophomore Kylie McCollum (Lee's Summitt, Mo./West) winning at the No. 6 position.
In doubles play, the tandem of sophomore Koharuko Fujita (Ishikawa, Japan/Izumigaoka) and junior Lauren Reberger (Brazil/Northview) also won at the No. 3 spot.
Rose-Hulman improved to 4-1 overall and hosts Defiance College in another conference match on Saturday.
