
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- Rose-Hulman improved to 4-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis play with a 7-2 victory over Mount St. Joseph on Saturday.
Seniors David Becerra (Brownsburg) and Seth Hendrickson (Crawfordsville) paced the effort with victories at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, and teamed up for a No. 2 doubles win.
Sophomore Devon Fritz (Lakeside, Calif./West Hills) and senior Mike Weber (Schrerville/Lake Central) duplicated the feat by winning at No. 3 and No. 6 singles, along with a No. 3 doubles victory.
Senior Brent Frizzell (Avon) rounded out the victories with a win at the No. 5 singles position.
Rose-Hulman improved to 5-4 on the season and 4-0 in HCAC play, while Mount St. Joseph dropped to 0-2 overall. The Engineers travel to the Wabash College Kerry Seward Invitational next Saturday and Sunday in Crawfordsville.
