CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed sixth in the seven-team Kerry Seward Men's Tennis Invitational at Wabash College on Saturday and Sunday.
Junior Ben Paras (Tucson, Ariz./Nordhoff) and sophomore Nathan Moore (Scottsdale, Ariz./Home Schooled) led the Engineer effort with 1-2 records in singles play and 1-2 records in doubles play.
Freshman Ray Montgomery (Terre Haute/South) added a 1-2 record and a first-round victory at the No. 6 singles position. Senior Randy Billingsley (Moline, Ill./Alleman) pitched in with a No. 3 doubles victory with Moore. The tandem of junior Ian Stevenson (Stow, Mass./Nashoba) and senior Stephan Lemmer (Haymarket, Va./Stonewall) also won one match at No. 2 doubles.
