
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Fightin' Engineer men's and women's diving teams enjoyed a strong performance at the annual Rose-Hulman Invitational, featuring teams from four states.
Sophomore diver Nicole Richardson (Janesville, Wis./George Parker) (pictured) established two school records to lead the team effort.
Richardson snapped her own school record with a fifth-place finish in the three-meter diving event with 335.1 points.
National power Trinity University from Texas swept the top four positions in three-meter and also captured sixth and seventh place behind Richardson. She also set a new school record in one-meter diving with 320.25 points.
On the men's side, freshman Keenan Bergstedt (Logansport) came home sixth overall with 323.3 points in one-meter diving. Senior Julian Ametsitsi (Marysville, Wash./Marysville-Pilchuck) came home ninth in one-meter diving (269.4 points), and freshman Kaleb Kleine (Zionsville/Covenant Christian) finished 11th (218.1 points).
Rose-Hulman's swimming and diving teams will return to action at Transylvania University in January.
