COMPLETE RESULTS
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology set school records and claimed three first-place honors
at the annual Fightin' Engineer Diving Invitational on Friday and
Saturday.
Senior Nicole Richardson (Janesville, Wis./George Parker) (pictured) snapped her own school record with a total of 366.35 points for 11 dives to win the three-meter women's competition. Freshman Regen Foote (Jasper) helped the Engineers earn a one-two sweep on the three-meter board with 343.55 points.
Foote turned the tables and established a new school record in one-meter diving with 341.85 points to place second behind Chelsea Courtney of DePauw. Richardson came home fourth with 313.55 points.
Freshman Sam Gould (Greencastle/South Putnam) (pictured) swept the one- and three-meter titles to lead the men's effort. Gould scored 369.08 on the one-meter board and 344.20 in three-meter.
Freshman Josh Maurer
(Kokomo/Western) came home second with scores of 343.70 in
one-meter and 277.95 in three-meter.
Rose-Hulman returns to action on Jan. 11-12 at the Washington University Invitational.
