MEET RESULTS

CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology competed at Wabash College Saturday and claimed six first-place honors.

Wabash defeated Rose-Hulman with a team score of 173-121.

The Engineers were led by juniors John Huster (Terre Haute, Ind./North Vigo) and Matt Ross (West Lafayette, Ind./Harrison).  Huster won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.23, and the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 49.76.  Ross won the 200 yard butterfly (1:58.40) and the 100 yd butterfly with a time of 53.57.

Sophomores Andrew Podgorski (Goshen, Ind.) and Logan Ryan (Kent, Wash./Kentwood Senior) chipped in with a Podgorski victory in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.50, while Ryan won the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:16.37.

Sophomore Aaron Foreman (Kingwood, Texas/Kingwood) placed second in 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:50.57. 

Junior Ryely Moore placed second in both diving events, recording a 153.45 in the three meter and a 146.05 in the one meter.

The swimming and diving teams return to action as they head back to Wabash College Nov. 18-19 for the Wabash Invitational.
