BLOOMINGTON, ILL. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology combined for seven top-five finishes at the College
Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships on
Saturday.
Sophomore Nicole Richardson (Janesville, Wis./George Parker) led the women's performance with a third-place in one-meter diving and a fourth-place at three meters. Richardson scored 311.60 points in one-meter and 310.20 points in three-meter.
Freshman Kaleb Kleine (Zionsville/Covenant Christian) joined senior Julian Ametsitsi (Marysville, Wash./Marysville-Pilchuck) with finishes of third and fourth in the two events.
Kleine placed third in one-meter diving with 313.00 points and fourth at three meters with 259.75. Ametsitsi finished third in three-meter diving (271.50) and fourth in one-meter (301.60).
Freshman Keenan Bergstedt (Logansport) rounded out the performance with a fifth-place finish in one-meter diving (290.85).
The Rose-Hulman swimming team will compete in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships beginning Thursday night.
