Bowman1CLERMONT, FLA. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology dropped a 6-3 decision to Capital after falling 8-0 to Augustana in softball action on Tuesday in Florida.

Rose-Hulman jumped ahead 3-0 on Capital in the first inning, highlighted with RBI singles from freshman Carly Heibel (Fort Wayne/Lakewood Park Christian) and junior Brianne Widmoyer (Elkhart/Central).

Capital rallied with one run in the second and two in the fifth to tie the score at 3-3, then scored three times in the decisive sixth inning to earn the win.
