CENTRE BOX SCORE; OBERLIN BOX SCORE

DANVILLE, KY. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Tchnology defeated Centre College 6-2 and fell to Oberlin 10-2 at the Centre College Mayhem Invitational on Saturday.

In their win over Centre, Rose-Hulman used a three-run fourth inning to take a 3-1 lead after Centre scored an early run.  Rose-Hulman added another run in the sixth and two more in the seventh to secure the win.

The Engineers were led by junior Alyse Mueller (Belleville, Ill./West) with three hits.  Sophomores Allison Bowman (Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider) and Mary Schultz (Harrison, Ohio) and freshman Jessica Ahlborn (Houghton, Mich.) each added two hits.

Bowman and Ahlborn also added two runs in the game.

Junior Brianne Widmoyer (Elkhart, Ind./Central) allowed just two hits to pick up her third pitching victory of the season.

Rose-Hulman stands 3-7 overall and returns to action on Sunday as they face Oberlin at 1 p.m. and Allegheny at 3 p.m.  Oberlin is now 1-0 while Allegheny stands 2-0 on the season after earning a pair of 1-0 wins last weekend in Virginia.
