HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed two
players on the second-team all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference squad in results released today by the league
office.
Senior Julie Brennan (Indianapolis/Pike) and graduate student Annmarie Stanley (Warrenville, Ill./Rosary) were honored in voting by league coaches released on Tuesday.
Brennan finished second in the HCAC with 119 saves this season and had a 2.00 goals against average. She completes her career with a school record 347 saves and ranks second in school history with six shutouts and 29 victories as a goalkeeper.
Stanley played the defensive midfield position this season with one score in 17 matches. She completes her career ranked No. 2 in Rose-Hulman history with 29 assists, including 13 assists in 2008.
Sophomore Rebecca Stevens (Richmond) was also honorable by the HCAC with a spot on the league's sportsmanship team.
Rose-Hulman finished 5-12-1 overall this season.
