of Technology fell 2-0 to Transylvania in Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer action on
Saturday.
Transylvania relied on a early goal by Kari Dailey in the 3rd minute, with an assist from Lexie DeCamp. Dailey also recorded an assist to Natosha Boden in the 85th minute.
Freshmen Katie DeMoss (Martinsville, Ind.), Hayley Gilliam (Zionsville, Ind.) and sophomore Nicky Wheeler (Avon, Ind.) each got a shot off for the Engineers.
Freshman Lucinda Combs (Danvile, Ky./Boyle County) picked up eight saves in the loss.
Rose-Hulman also celebrated senior day for Ally Nelson (Mooresville) and Amy Schleter (Knoxville, Tenn./Karns) prior to the match.
Rose-Hulman stands to 7-6-2 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play on the season, while Transylvania stands 8-4-1 and 4-1 in league play. The Fightin Engineers are at Franklin on Tuesday.
