TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Defiance College scored two goals in the final minutes to defeat Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 2-0 in the women's soccer season finale on Saturday.
Rose-Hulman honored seven players to kickoff on Saturday. Seniors for the Engineers included Julie Brennan (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike), Carolyn Guzik (Avon, Ohio/Padua Franciscan), Aleks Kampa (Garden Grove, Calif./O.C. Lutheran), Kaitlyn Lewis (Utica, Ky./Owensboro Catholic), Molly Rice (Marion, Ind./Oak Hill), Annmarie Stanley (Warrenville, Ill./Rosary) and Anna Vogel (East Greenwich, R.I./LaSalle).
Rose Hulman was led by Nicky Wheeler (Avon, Ind.) with three shots on goal. Brennan recorded four saves in goal to bring her career school record total to 347.
The Engineers finish the season with 5-12-1 record for the year.
