TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman scored in overtime to top Wabash 1-0 in men's soccer action on Saturday.
Junior Spencer Johnson (Yorkville, Ill)scored the go ahead goal in overtime giving the Fightin' Engineers their first win of the season. Sophomore Drew Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio) orchestrated two saves that proved to be the most crucial.
Rose-Hulman proved to be the aggressor by outshooting Wabash 15-5. William Senat (Edmond, Okla.) led the Fightin' Engineers with three shots attempted and provided the game winning assist to Johnson.
Goalkeeper Matt Paul of Wabash gave a valiant effort with a total of nine saves for the game.
Rose-Hulman improved to 1-2-1 on the season, while Wabash dropped to 1-3. The Fightin' Engineers host DePauw on Sunday at 4.
