HAUTE, IND. -- Senior Zane Englert (Waterloo,
Ill.) scored in the second overtime to lead the men's
soccer team past Principia 2-1 in the Homecoming game on
Saturday.
Englert scored the final goal in the 103rd minute off of a corner kick, deflected off a defender.
John Munson (Bloomington, III./University) scored the first goal for the Engineers in the 47th minute.
Four players led the engineers with two shots each.
Sophomore Drew Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio) recorded three saves and one goal allowed to record his third win of the season.
Rose-Hulman improved to 4-3-2 on the season, while Principia dropped to 1-8. The Fightin' Engineers host Centre on Sunday at 2 p.m.
