TERRE HAUTE, IND. --
The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology rifle team opened its 2010
season with a score of 4,320 points against NCAA Division I
Morehead State at the Cook Stadium Rifle Range on
Sunday.
Freshman Adam Foss (Fort Wayne/ Concordia Lutheran) led the team score with a balanced 1,118. Foss scored 559 in both smallbore and air rifle.
Senior Parker Lee (Swannanoa, N.C./C.D. Owen) added a score of 1,088, with freshman Evan Duvall (Smyrna, Tenn.) contributing 1,080 points.
Sophomore Katy Dimon (Fairfax, Va./Flint Hill) pitched in with a 1,054, and junior Malhon Godwin (Blue Grass, Iowa/Davenport West) placed fifth among Engineers at 1,044.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Purdue University Invitational next weekend.
