MARTIN, TENN. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology recorded a season-high score of 4,480 points at the Murray State Invitational to highlight a two-match rifle weekend in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Senior Adam Foss (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) led the team effort with a score of 1,128 at Murray State, highlighted by a score of 573 in air rifle.
Senior Suzanne Eisenberger (Clarence Center, N.Y./Northeastern University) finished second among Engineers at 1,121 points with a team-high 575 in air rifle.
Senior Evan Duvall (Smyrna, Tenn./Smyrna) added a score of 1,119, including 563 in smallbore.
Junior Allie Carlson (Goose Creek, S.C./Patch American) contributed a score of 1,112, and freshman John Overton (Orland, Calif.) tallied 1,077 points.
On Sunday, Duvall led the team with 1,118 points at the Tennessee-Martin Invitational. Eisenberger added a score of 1,115, and Foss also crossed the 1,100 mark with a 1,104 points.
Carlson scored 1,084 points, while Overton rounded out the team score with a mark of 1,042.
Rose-Hulman returns to action with a home matchup against Morehead State on Feb. 1.
