COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology compiled a team score of 4,401 points at the NCAA Division III qualifier at Ohio State University on Saturday.
Rose-Hulman stands second of the three teams that completed their qualification at Ohio State on Saturday. Akron scored 4,563 points, Rose-Hulman tallied 4,401 and Purdue scored 4,041.
Junior Evan Duvall (Smyrna, Tenn.) led the squad with 1,125 points, including 568 in air rifle. Junior Adam Foss (Fort Wayne/Concordia Lutheran) contributed a score of 1,114 points, with a balanced 556 in air rifle and 558 in smallbore.
Sophomore Allie Carlson (Goose Creek, S.C./Patch American) finished third on the squad with 1,091 points, including 551 in air rifle.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Western Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships next Saturday.
