Women's Golf Places 9th at Bethel

barker2SOUTH BEND, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's golf team placed ninth at the Bethel University Blackthorn Challenge on Friday and Saturday.

Freshman Emily Barker (Fort Wayne/Leo) paced the Engineers with rounds of 94 and 86 to place 28th overall.

Senior Bailey Wagner (South Bend/Laville) contributed rounds of 95 and 89, with freshman Deanne De Keizer (Mishawaka/Penn) adding rounds of 96 and 93.

Freshman Ashley Loy (Cedar Lake/Hanover Central) rounded out the team score with rounds of 111 and 110.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Franklin College Invitational next Sunday.
