Rose-Hulman Places 6th at Franklin

barkerCLAYTON, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology finished sixth overall but placed just six shots behind fourth place at the Franklin College Women's Golf Invitational on Sunday.

Sophomore Emily Barker (Fort Wayne/Leo) led the Engineers with a 17th place finish and a score of 88.

Sophomore Deanne De Keizer (Mishawaka/Penn) came home 22nd overall with a score of 92.

Freshman Jaclyn Smith (Thorntown/Western Boone) added a score of 96, with freshman Chloe LaVelle (East Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) also contributing a 96.

Rose-Hulman squares off with St. Mary-of-the-Woods next Sunday at Rea Park Golf Course.
