HCAC TOURNAMENT PROGRAM
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The men's golf team will compete in the 72-hole Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships over the next two weekends.
The tournament begins with rounds at Aston Oaks Golf Course in North Bend, Ohio, on April 27-28. The final two rounds take place May 4-5 at Rea Park Golf Course in Terre Haute.
Rose-Hulman looks to move up from its eighth-place finish from a year ago with a team that features two players averaging scores in the 70s.
Freshman Sanders Park leads the team with a 74.85 average, including two event victories and two par or below rounds. Junior Travis Whithaus also averages 76.69 strokes per round with three top-five event finishes.
Other players in Rose-Hulman's top five scores include Kent Kraus (82.31), John Rigitano (82.50) and Jeremy Walters (83.27).
This weekend's action begins with rounds at 8:30 on both Saturday and Sunday in Ohio and hosted by Mount St. Joseph.
