TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team will compete in the 72-hole Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship starting on Saturday.

Rose-Hulman will open the tournament with rounds on Saturday and Sunday at the Legends of Indiana Golf Course in Franklin, Ind.  The final two rounds are set for Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3 at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance, Ohio.

Rose-Hulman has enjoyed a solid season with two second-place finishes at tournament events.  Leading scorers include Sanders Park (74.50 strokes per round), Tapat Wittayakom (76.17) and Travis Whithaus (78.14).

The Fightin' Engineers look to improve upon a fifth place finish at the 2013 HCAC Tournament that Rose-Hulman co-hosted at Rea Park Golf Course.
