COMPLETE RESULTS

TERRE HAUTE, IND. --  The Fightin' Engineer men's golf team placed fifth of nine teams at the Rose-Hulman Invitational at Hulman Links Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.

Senior Cliff Parsons (Petersburg/ Pike Central) (pictured) led Rose-Hulman with a tie for second place individually.  Parsons recorded two rounds of 79 to tie Phillip Gilmore of Mount St. Joseph for the runner-up spot.

Ryan Berra of DePauw won the individual tournament by two strokes over Parsons and Gilmore with rounds of 81 and 75 for a two-day total of 156.

DePauw also won the team competition with 643 strokes, ahead of Mount St. Joseph (650) and Vincennes (654).  The Fightin' Engineers placed fifth overall of nine teams with a 677.

Junior Blake Knotts (Louisville, Ky./Christian) contributed an 11th place finish with a two-day score of 166, highlighted by a opening round of 76 on Saturday.

Sophomore Eric Kamer (Greenwood/Center Grove) ranked third among Engineers and 25th overall with a two-day total of 172.

Sophomore John Rigitano (Addison, Ill./Addison Trail) compiled rounds of 90 and 83 to finish 29th overall.  Freshman Brandon Scroggins (Hanover/Shawe Memorial) placed fifth among Engineers with a two-day 176.
